Họp Mặt Hội Đồng Liên Đoàn 2024
We invite all members of the League’s Congress: Chapter Chaplains, the heads of the League’s Assistant Chaplain (Lay) committee, members of the executive committee of the League, and all Chapter Presidents and your two Vice Presidents to our annual face to face meeting at the Immaculate Conception Spiritual Renewal Center - 600 Liberty Highway, Putnam, CT 06260.
We humbly ask to respect everyone’s time and make all efforts to come to this meeting on time and arrange for the full day of attendance. This is so we have enough time for the activities at this year’s meeting. Our meeting will begin promptly at 4 pm on Friday, October 11th and will last until 4 pm on Saturday, October 12th, 2024.
This is an opportunity for us to come together as a League to: pray, engage in fun activities, discuss the League’s plan for the upcoming 2025 year, and receive new updates from the National Executive Board. This is also an important meeting as we will be voting for our League’s president and two vices for the 2025-2028 term, so every effort to make this event is appreciated.
We want to emphasize that this event is an opportunity for all of us to come together, relax, and bond. It is also an opportunity for the League of Chapters’ Executive Committee to express our gratitude for all your dedicated services to your chapter throughout the years. As always, please continue to support us and work together with us so we can better serve each other and build up our League of Chapters even more.

With the approval of our League’s Chaplain and considering our League’s planned schedule of activities for next year, 2025, we cordially invite all Lay Assistant Chaplains from all our chapters to our annual Lay Assistant Chaplain Committee face to face meeting, GIUSE XI.

Họp này cũng để cảm ơn tri ân mọi sự nâng đỡ và chia sẻ của các cô chú trong những sinh hoạt của Liên Đoàn. Xin quý trợ tá đến để chúng ta hội thảo, hỏi đáp cũng như nêu ý kiến và đóng góp nhằm tiếp tục duy trì một Ban Trợ Tá đắc lực cho Phong Trào, đặc biệt cho Liên Đoàn chúng ta.
This is an opportunity for us to firstly pray, meet, and show our appreciation to all the Lay Assistant Chaplains for their loving service and support of the local Chapters and our League of Chapters. This meeting will also be in part to vote in a new Chaplain Assistant (Lay) Head for our League as we come into a new executive board term. We invite you to come to engage in dialogue, to bring up any concerns and initiatives, so to further develop our esteemed committee of Lay Assistant Chaplains here in our League. As always, please continue to support us in working together so that we can better serve each other and young people by building up our League of Chapters even more.

In addition, per the request of our League’s Chaplain, we are extending this invitation to all religious consecrated brothers and sisters that serve in the local parishes here in our League. This is in hopes to meet you and bring the vision of our chaplain to establish a Religious Chaplain Assistant committee.

Registration Guidelines:
Registration for chapter members 18+, will ONLY be directly online via our website.
All Huynh Trường, Trợ Tá, Hiệp Sĩ Trưởng Thành, and any parental volunteers who will be staying overnight and coming outside visitation and designated volunteer times (i.e. helping with set up or mealtimes).
Registration for chapter members under 18 are as follows:
Mass Chapter Registration:
Include participant’s full name (Saint Name, Last Name, First Name) on mass approval form
Print, distribute, and collect Voluntary Participation Agreement form from participants
Check that parent/legal guardian has filled it out correctly
Circle division the participant is currently active in for the event
Collect respective registration fee from participant (please follow fee amount and increase as announced: $50 per person before/on June 23rd, 2024 and $60 per person after June 23rd, 2024)
Submit Google Form with count of participants in each division from respective chapter AND fill out participants’ information to Google Sheet sent out by Ban Ghi Danh (*Please contact Tr. Huythanh Tran if you are in need of this google sheet again)
Chapter leadership is expected to fill out file in a timely manner aligning with registration deadlines per the announcement letter
Payment to the St. Paul Hanh League of Chapters can be in the following forms and must match what is reported on respective chapter’s Google Sheet:
Cash – to be delivered upon chapter check-in at the event; Chapter representative must sit and count with Ban Ghi Danh, not just hand in an envelope full of the cash
Check – to be delivered upon chapter check-in at the event; Check Payable to: Phong Hoang
PayPal – to be done online any date prior and up to one day before the event to avoid online connection complications at the event

In order to ensure a smooth event we urge everyone to arrive on time for the start of check-in at 2PM on Friday July 19th.

Anyone who would like to cancel their registration before July 7th may get a full refund minus a $10 overhead fee. There is no refund for cancellations on or after July 7th

All participants must be official members of their local TNTT chapter AND at least 7 years old at the start of Hừng Đông 10.

Thank you for your willingness to help! Anyone helping out in any capacity at camp needs an up to date VIRTUS certification.
Those who are helping and staying overnight must register and pay the registration fee by June 30th.
Anyone wanting to help but not staying overnight, please have their local TNTT chapter president make a request to Trưởng Ban Tổ Chức (Tr. Maria Ta) before July 7th. The request should include your name, your role (e.g. Trợ Tá, phụ huynh, ân nhân), your intention, and your approximate arrival and departure time.

If your children are NOT registered participants, we kindly ask that you do NOT bring them with you to Hừng Đông 10 for safety and liability concerns. They are welcomed to come during visiting hours only (see Visitation Policy).

All DHLD participants who are staying overnight are required to sleep in a tent that is set-up in your designated Doan area.
Visitation Policy
In order to ensure the safety of all participants of HỪNG ĐÔNG 10, BTC will be adhering to the following policies and protocols as it relates to visitors at the camp.
A list of expected visitors needs to be submitted to BTC prior to the start of camp. This list will be submitted by the DT via the Visitation Form. Parking space will be limited so we can only accommodate a certain number of visitors at any given time. This list will ensure we can accommodate your visitors. This list will ask for the following information which you should gather ahead of submission:
Name of each visitor
Expected date of visit
Expected time of arrival
Any visitors arriving that are not on this list may be turned away at the discretion of Tr. BTC
Visitors must check in at the check-in table prior to entering camp and receive a visitors pass.
Visitors must wear their visitors pass throughout their visit and return their visitor pass when leaving the campsite to check out.
All visitors must depart by 9pm except for Saturday night when they must exit after Lua Thieng The
Visitors may NOT engage in any of the programming occurring at camp. This includes checking in on any children, participating in games/activities, or conversing with HT who are participating in their lang. They may observe and keep their interactions by the Am Thuc tents.
Under no circumstance should visitors be entering any tents. If they are dropping off anything to doan sinh it should be passed off to their respective DT or another representative of the Doan.
Any visitors who violate the policies outlined above may be asked to leave the campsite at the discretion of Tr. BTC.

Lent is the season when the Church calls all Christians to live the spirits of "silent prayer, quiet sacrifice, and sincere repentance". Every year during Lent, our Executive Committee organizes a retreat for all Youth Leaders, so that each of us may encounter the living Jesus who strengthens and increases our faith. The retreat helps us to understand the meaning of Lent and the reason why Jesus suffered and died for our sins. We invite all Youth Leaders to attend the retreat so as to re-enkindle the fire of faith within.
Theme: Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. -Mark 11:24

Time: From 4 pm Friday the 1st of March to 2 pm Sunday the 3rd of March 2024
Requirements:
Must be a Youth Leader (Huynh Trưởng) or a Knight of the Eucharist 18+, who is registered to attend a Youth Leader Level 1 Training
Is currently active within the Chapter
Has recommendation from the Chapter’s Chaplain and Executive Committee

This event is only open to active HT and HSTT who have already registered to attend Cấp I training camp. This is due to the limited capacity available at the retreat center.

The event is most fruitful when experienced in its entirety by arriving at the start time as stated in the announcement letter. We encourage participants to make their best efforts to arrive on time as the planning committee has taken a lot of time to plan the best for our participants. If, for extenuating circumstances, you are unable to arrive on time, then please contact Trưởng Ban Tổ Chức, Tr. Maria Ta, directly at mariata716@gmail.com.

If you have food allergies please contact Trưởng Ban Tổ Chức, Tr. Maria Ta, directly at mariata716@gmail.com. You may bring your own food so long as the food is properly packaged, labeled, and kept in the kitchen area. No food should be brought up to the common areas or into the sleeping quarters.

We are not mandating vaccinations or mask wearing at this time. You may wear a mask at all times if that is what makes you feel comfortable. We also encourage all participants to take a courtesy COVID-19 test prior to attending as a safe measure for fellow participants.

If you have had a direct exposure to COVID (per CDC that means, within six feet of the person, who tested positive, without wearing a mask), then you need to receive 2 consecutive negative-COVID PCR tests 2-3 days apart in order to attend. If you are unable to receive results in this timeframe or are exposed just 1-2 days before the event, then we ask that you stay home for the safety of all participants. Please refer to the refund policy for more information regarding your registration fees.

Per CDC guidelines, IF YOU were exposed to COVID-19 and are up-to-date with vaccination OR had confirmed COVID-19 within the past 90 days (you tested positive using a viral test), you do not have to quarantine, but do have to monitor your symptoms. If you do develop symptoms, within 10 days prior to the event start date, then we ask that you stay home for the safety of our participants.

While not required, it is highly encouraged for you to get a COVID PCR test to ensure you are not infectious prior to attending. Rapid tests are most effective if you are symptomatic. While not ideal, rapid tests may also be conducted. You will not be required to show proof of a negative test.

If you and/or someone from your chapter who attended the event tests positive directly after the event please contact our Trưởng Ban Tổ Chức, Tr. Maria Ta, immediately. He/She will be able to walk you through some questions and follow through with notification procedures. If a possible exposure does occur, then event participants will be notified immediately so that personal testing and quarantining can occur as needed.

If you are unable to attend due to non-COVID related reasons (i.e. personal reason, work schedule conflict, etc.), then a full refund (minus a $10 non-refundable fee) will only be issued for cancellations two weeks in advance. After February 18, 2024 refunds will not be issued except for COVID related reasons.
